Job Overview: The Protection Assistant G3 position is a temporary role for a duration of 9 months, specifically for NRC internal applicants. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Protection Assistant include:
Ensuring adherence to NRC policies, tools, handbooks, and guidelines.
Assisting in the implementation of the protection portfolio according to the plan of action and international protection standards.
Organizing and delivering tasks in line with established procedures and agreed priorities.
Maintaining proper filing of documents and ensuring confidentiality of stored information.
Recording and completing data entry for protection assessments in the database in a timely manner.
Ensuring accurate data entry of all cases received and handling all data confidentially.
Conducting CVAT and RNA assessments as delegated.
Performing any other tasks relevant to the position as requested by the line manager.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the Protection Assistant position include:
Knowledge of Psychological First Aid and/or Trauma Informed Interview Techniques.
At least 1 year of work experience, preferably as a Caseworker in humanitarian or recovery settings in Iran or Afghanistan.
Proficiency in computer skills, particularly in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Kobo.
Excellent understanding of case management principles and processes.
Previous experience in protection-related activities is highly desirable.
Ability to work in a multicultural organization with members from diverse backgrounds.
