Job Overview: The position of Intern ICT (SharePoint) at UNDP in Chile is designed for individuals who are either in their final year of university or have recently graduated. The primary responsibility of the intern will be to assist in the programming, configuration, administration, and support of SharePoint sites and subsites, ensuring effective structure and organization to facilitate daily operations. This role is crucial in supporting the ICT Unit's priorities and enhancing the efficiency of the organization's operations.
Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
Assisting in the configuration, design, and administration of SharePoint sites and subsites to ensure effective structure and organization.
Collaborating with the team to develop SharePoint solutions based on specific requirements and needs of various areas.
Providing support and assistance to end-users in resolving SharePoint-related issues.
Staying updated on the latest trends and best practices in SharePoint development and administration, sharing practical insights with the team.
Collaborating in the management of workflows, documentation, and knowledge generation related to SharePoint developments.
Implementing cybersecurity measures and researching new technological solutions to enhance organizational efficiency.
Performing other functions as necessary for the efficient operation of the office and the organization, in line with relevant policies.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must be final-year students or recent graduates (within one year of graduation) in fields related to information technology, computer engineering, development, or similar disciplines. They should possess a good command of Microsoft O365 software and have training and knowledge in programming SharePoint Online sites and applications. Familiarity with web development tools and technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery is also required. Desired competencies include advanced knowledge and practical experience with SharePoint, experience in site administration and configuration, and the ability to document processes and technical solutions effectively. Strong database management skills and proficiency in English reading are also valued.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes being a final-year student or a recent graduate from a university or technical institution in fields related to information technology, computer engineering, or similar areas. Candidates should have completed relevant coursework that provides a foundation in programming and system administration, particularly in relation to SharePoint and web technologies.

Selected candidates will receive a monthly stipend based on the established values for the UNDP office in Chile. The stipend will be proportional for part-time positions.
