Job Overview: The position of Coordonnateur.trice logistique involves overseeing all logistical and administrative operations of a project under the supervision of the project manager. The role requires coordination with technical teams to assess project needs, develop procurement plans, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. The coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, managing team dynamics, and ensuring quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle. This position is critical in supporting the project manager in achieving project objectives, reducing risks, and improving overall project quality and success rates.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordination of logistical operations: Oversee all logistical and administrative operations, ensuring that services and goods meet specifications, materials are securely stored, and invoices are paid on time. Update tracking tools related to logistics and administrative operations. Conduct periodic inventory reports and monitor logistical operations.
Team management: Ensure project delivery according to schedule, plan weekly, monthly, and quarterly activities, and implement risk management strategies. Establish and monitor project timelines.
Support to the project manager: Assist the project manager in managing the project and monitoring field teams. Ensure all team members understand their roles and objectives. Organize training and mentoring opportunities for team development.
Stakeholder engagement: Manage communication with project partners and stakeholders, maintain relationships with UN agencies and NGOs, and ensure regular updates on project progress.
Monitoring and reporting: Support the project manager in tracking project progress, collecting data, and preparing periodic reports for stakeholders.
Budget management: Assist in budget management, track expenses against the budget, and implement controls to minimize overspending.
Required Qualifications: Essential qualifications include a master's degree in business administration, supply chain management, logistics, or a related field. A bachelor's degree combined with two additional years of relevant experience may be accepted in lieu of a master's degree. Candidates must provide proof of education (degrees, licenses, certifications) during application submission.
Educational Background: Candidates are required to have a master's degree in a relevant field such as business administration, logistics, or supply chain management. Alternatively, a bachelor's degree with additional relevant experience may be acceptable. Documentation of educational qualifications must be submitted with the application.
Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in logistics is required, with prior work experience in Haiti being essential.
