Duties and Responsibilities:
The Entertainment Relations Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including serving as the logistics and communications coordinator for the Global Advisory Council (GAC) and other talent. This includes developing new strategies to enhance the visibility of CARE’s brand and managing regular communications with the PR agency partner. The specialist will conduct research to identify potential global celebrity ambassadors, contribute to engagement plans, and coordinate the development of a quarterly newsletter for GAC members. Additionally, the role involves planning and executing CARE Learning Tours for celebrities and VIPs, drafting communication materials, and monitoring social media engagement of CARE’s celebrity partners. The specialist will also coordinate educational briefings, support the development of materials for celebrity ambassadors, and assist with advocacy and resource mobilization activities. Furthermore, the role requires building effective project coordination and administration systems, creating social media content toolkits, and tracking engagement metrics to assess the success of initiatives.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in related fields such as Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or Media Studies, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience. A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the entertainment industry, particularly in working with celebrities and social impact initiatives, is required. Excellent written and oral communication skills are essential, along with proficiency in software such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Google Docs. Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management abilities are crucial for success in this role.
