Job Overview:
The position of Coordinateur/trice Finance - RH is crucial for the operational support staff (OSS) team within Solidarités International. The OSS team is designed to provide strategic coverage and technical support for existing missions, as well as to assist in the opening of new missions. The role involves being deployed for missions ranging from three weeks to three months, depending on the needs of the organization. The Coordinateur/trice will oversee the financial and administrative services of the mission, ensuring compliance with SI procedures, donor regulations, and local laws. This position acts as a key link between the headquarters and the field missions, managing financial stability and reporting on budgetary matters.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Coordinateur/trice Finance - RH will be responsible for a variety of tasks under the supervision of the director" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">country director and in functional relation with the desk controller at headquarters. Key responsibilities include:
  • Analyzing the socio-economic context of the mission.
  • Managing human resources for both expatriate and national staff.
  • Leading and managing the finance team and ensuring effective administration of the mission.
  • Overseeing financial, accounting, and budgetary management.
  • Handling administrative tasks related to the mission.
  • Managing cash flow and treasury operations.
  • Reporting and communicating financial information to stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with SI's financial procedures and regulations.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a degree in financial management, human resources, or a related field from a recognized institution. Additionally, significant professional experience (more than one year) in a similar role with Solidarités International or another NGO is required. Candidates should demonstrate strong technical skills in financial management and administration, as well as proficiency in relevant software such as SAGA and Homere.

Educational Background:
A higher education degree in financial management, human resources, or business administration is required. Candidates should have a solid understanding of financial principles and practices, as well as experience in managing diverse teams in a multicultural environment.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of one year of relevant experience in a finance or human resources coordinator role, preferably within an NGO context. Experience in managing financial operations in humanitarian settings is highly desirable.

Languages:
Fluency in French and English is mandatory for this position. Knowledge of Spanish is considered an asset and would be beneficial for communication in certain missions.

Additional Notes:
This is a short-term expatriate contract, intended to replace maternity leave. The salary is based on the expatriate salary scale, starting from €2600 gross per month. Employees are entitled to five weeks of paid leave per year and one day off for each weekend spent in the field. Health insurance and repatriation coverage are fully provided. The position allows for flexible location outside of deployment periods, whether in metropolitan France or abroad.
