Job Overview:
The Communications Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the USAID Enterprises, Employment, and Enabling Environments (E4) Activity, specifically under the FGI 2.0 Task Order in Tajikistan. This position is designed to enhance communication efforts that align with the project's objectives of increasing employment and jobs through improved private sector productivity and competitiveness. The Communications Assistant will work closely with the Senior Partnership Specialist to maintain successful partnerships and collaborative alliances while implementing all communication activities related to the project. The role requires a proactive approach to creating and disseminating content across various media formats, ensuring that all communications reflect the goals and values of Palladium and the E4 Activity.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Communications Assistant include drafting and editing press releases, bi-weekly updates, success stories, blog posts, newsletters, and social media content. The role also involves creating multimedia content such as videos and infographics, assisting in the development and distribution of marketing materials, and managing social media channels for partners. Additionally, the Communications Assistant will help plan and execute events, prepare event materials, and coordinate with partners to ensure effective communication. Monitoring media coverage, preparing quarterly media reports, and ensuring brand messaging consistency across platforms are also key duties. The position requires supporting crisis communication efforts and managing databases related to partners and events, as well as assisting communication managers with daily tasks.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess at least 2 years of experience as a communication assistant or blogger, particularly in donor-funded projects. Experience working with programs that focus on women, youth, and vulnerable groups is essential. The ideal candidate should demonstrate the ability to manage multiple activities simultaneously and work effectively within multidisciplinary teams that prioritize social inclusion. Proficiency in developing communication materials, including press releases and social media messages, is required. Strong writing skills, attention to detail, adaptability, and familiarity with digital communication tools are crucial for success in this role.
