Job Description
Tetra Tech International Development is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for an In-Country Representative position on a Millennium Challenge Corporation-funded Cross Cutting Program Support Activity in Honiara, Solomon Islands.
The In-Country Representative will be part of a team that facilitates the stakeholders involved in the governance reforms for the Accessing Land for Tourism Investment Facilitation (ALTIF) Project and the Forest Value Enhancement Project (FoVEP). These are the two technical activities of the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC) and the Solomon Islands Government (SIG)’s Threshold Program. The In-Country Representative will ensure efficient operation of all in-country activities. This person will be the main in-country point of contact for SIG, other implementers, and MCC. Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field required, advanced degree preferred. * Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience managing operations including domestic and international travel; and administrative, organizational, and logistical expertise associated with meeting and public event planning between SIG, program staff, and donor organizations. * Five (5) to seven (7) years of demonstrated experience engaging key stakeholders (including women), co-implementers, and team members in a way that demonstrates cultural understanding and that is sensitive to power dynamics within groups and teams. * Two (2) to three (3) years of experience with website development and maintenance. * Two years of international development experience is preferred. * Fluency in English required.
