The intern will also be responsible for developing presentations, conducting data analysis, and creating visualizations to communicate findings effectively. Duties and Responsibilities: The intern will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities, including: supporting the design and implementation of a vendor-registration due diligence verification system; assisting in tracking project progress and ensuring timely completion of deliverables; mapping the vendor registration review process; reviewing business and financial information submitted during vendor registration; leveraging Agile Principles to analyze project tasks; coordinating weekly updates for key projects; developing a practical model or prototype for guiding registrations; creating presentations to communicate project updates; supporting meetings and consultations related to the project; cleaning and organizing vendor-registration data; creating simple data visualizations; identifying issues and developing solutions; and utilizing advanced business tools such as Excel for data analysis and documentation.
Required Qualifications: To qualify for this internship, applicants must meet one of the following criteria: be enrolled in a graduate school program (second university degree or equivalent, or higher); be in the final academic year of a university degree program (minimum bachelor's level or equivalent); or have graduated with a university degree. No prior work experience is required, but candidates should possess skills and knowledge that would benefit the United Nations during their internship. Preferred qualifications include a degree or studies in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field, as well as experience with Office 365 applications, particularly MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Advanced Excel skills and experience in data collection, analysis, and visualization are also desirable.
Educational Background: Candidates should have a relevant educational background, which may include enrollment in a graduate program or completion of a university degree in fields such as Business Administration, Finance, or Accounting.
