Job Overview: The position of Coordinateur.trice RH is crucial for leading and coordinating the human resources services of the mission. The individual in this role is responsible for ensuring compliance with Solidarités International's procedures, donor regulations, and local laws. They serve as the primary point of contact for all HR-related matters between the mission and headquarters. The HR team is currently being recruited and will be entirely new to SI, which will require significant support and training to ensure effective operations. The role involves restructuring the department, particularly in relation to the ongoing separation between the base and coordination. The mission is experiencing significant growth, necessitating the structuring of all departments to support this expansion. The first 2-3 months will focus on establishing the department's structure and ensuring its effective functioning at both the base and coordination levels, implementing SI procedures, training the HR team, and finalizing the annual action plan for 2026.
Duties and Responsibilities: The main duties and responsibilities of the Coordinateur.trice RH include:
Directing and coordinating all HR services for the mission.
Ensuring compliance with SI procedures, donor regulations, and local laws.
Acting as the liaison between the mission and headquarters for HR-related inquiries.
Supporting the recruitment and training of the new HR team.
Restructuring the HR department in line with the separation of base and coordination.
Implementing and ensuring understanding of SI procedures among the team.
Finalizing and executing the annual action plan for 202
Managing the physical and electronic archiving of HR documents. 1
Strengthening structured and effective social dialogue within the mission.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the position include:
A university degree at BAC+4 level in Management or Human Resources.
A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector.
At least 3-4 years of experience in a similar position.
Proven experience as a coordinator or director of human resources in a humanitarian mission, with mandatory field experience.
Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Good knowledge and experience in human resource management, including the development of HR procedures and policies, labor market analysis, and HR strategy formulation.
Ability to analyze and interpret local legislation and support local teams in capacity building.
Proficiency in standard office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and familiarity with payroll software such as Homère is appreciated.
Educational Background: Candidates must possess a university degree at BAC+4 level in Management or Human Resources, which provides the foundational knowledge necessary for effective human resource management in a humanitarian context.
Experience: Candidates should have a minimum of 3-4 years of experience in the humanitarian sector, with at least 3-4 years in a similar HR role. Experience in a humanitarian mission is essential, particularly in a coordinating capacity, to ensure the candidate is well-versed in the unique challenges and requirements of the sector.
Languages: Fluency in French is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, enhancing communication within the diverse teams and communities served by the organization.

The salary is competitive, starting at EUR 2840 gross per month, which includes a base salary and a 10% annual leave allowance paid monthly, along with a monthly per diem of USD 75
SI covers housing costs and travel expenses between the expatriate's home country and the duty station. A work and leave alternation system is in place, allowing for 7 working days off every three months, with additional rest days accrued monthly. Expatriates receive comprehensive health insurance covering medical expenses, including dental and ophthalmological care, and repatriation. Vaccination and malaria treatment costs are reimbursed. Living conditions include accommodation in a secure guest house with individual rooms, located 1 km from the office, with access to amenities such as a swimming pool and tennis court. The office is situated in a residential area, ensuring a comfortable working environment.
