Duties and Responsibilities: The Grants Coordinator will have a comprehensive set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: developing and maintaining an overview of all grants and donor requirements; coordinating the development of donor applications and reports; ensuring compliance with donor rules and regulations; contributing to the development and revision of funding proposals and budgets; documenting and analyzing learning from proposal and reporting processes; providing internal support on donor-related issues; coordinating the development of internal reports; supporting external donor audits; and representing NRC towards relevant partners and donors. Additionally, the Grants Coordinator will prepare reports for donors and partners, maintain program files, and ensure that all documentation required for audits is ready and available.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Grants Coordinator position must possess a relevant university degree or higher education, preferably in international relations, development studies, social sciences, or project management. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in grants management within the humanitarian sector is required, along with experience working with humanitarian and development donors. Candidates should have a basic understanding of donor rules and regulations, as well as skills and experience in report and proposal writing. Strong communication, coordination, and interpersonal skills are essential, along with excellent written and oral communication skills in English and proficiency in computer applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
