Job Overview:
The TVET Instructor for Commercial eBusiness will play a crucial role in the design and delivery of vocational education and training programs. This position involves supporting the development of learning programs and curricula tailored to the needs of Palestine refugees. The instructor will facilitate both school-based and work-based learning, ensuring that training venues are effectively prepared and that inclusive training plans are developed. The role requires the integration of adult learning strategies, particularly for trainees with disabilities and special learning needs. The instructor will also be responsible for designing assessments, building linkages with employers, and applying quality assurance processes throughout the training cycle. Additionally, the instructor will support initiatives related to greening and digitalization in vocational training, ensuring that these elements are incorporated into the curriculum. Collaboration with other instructors and staff is essential to maintain a respectful and organized learning environment, and the instructor will also be expected to implement Occupational Health and Safety measures within the training center.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the design and development of learning programs and curricula, including conducting occupational and competency analyses, drafting program profiles, and integrating new technologies into the subject specializations.
• Facilitate the delivery of school-based and work-based learning programs, including preparing training venues, selecting trainees, and managing learning in various settings.
• Design and implement student assessments, including formative and summative assessments, and develop inclusive skills assessment plans.
• Build relationships with employers and analyze labor market information to identify skills gaps and needs for training programs.
• Apply quality assurance tools and processes according to the UNRWA TVET Quality Assurance Framework.
• Support greening and digitalization initiatives by designing and implementing relevant training programs.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to maintain a respectful environment and implement co-curricular activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree of four years from an accredited educational institution, with a major specialization in the field of Economics. No specific work experience is required for this position, but candidates should indicate any outside activities or involvements that may be relevant to the role. This includes employment, freelance work, teaching, or any other relevant experience that demonstrates their capabilities and commitment to the field.

Educational Background:
A university degree of four years from an accredited educational institution in an approved course of study with a major specialization in the field of Economics is required. This educational background is essential to ensure that the instructor has the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively teach and develop vocational training programs.

Experience:
While no specific work experience is required for this position, candidates are encouraged to provide details of any relevant outside activities or involvements. This could include teaching experience, freelance consulting, or participation in relevant conferences and training sessions. Languages:
For this position, proficiency in English and Arabic is required. Candidates must demonstrate a minimum level of proficiency in reading, writing, listening, and speaking in both languages, as per the UN Language Framework. Additional Notes:
This position is a daily paid assignment for up to three months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding availability. The daily rate for this position is $29.17, and the salary may be subject to a reduced work schedule. Additional benefits include one day of annual leave and one day of sick leave for each completed month of service.
