Job Overview:
The TVET Instructor position at UNRWA involves a multifaceted role focused on the design, development, and delivery of vocational education and training programs. The instructor will be responsible for creating learning programs and curricula tailored to the needs of Palestine refugees, ensuring that these programs are relevant and effective. This includes conducting occupational and competency analyses, drafting program profiles, and integrating new technologies into the curriculum. The instructor will facilitate both school-based and work-based learning, which involves preparing training venues, selecting trainees, and employing adult learning strategies to accommodate diverse learning needs, including those of trainees with disabilities. Additionally, the instructor will design assessments to evaluate student progress and skills, build relationships with employers to align training with labor market needs, and apply quality assurance measures to maintain high standards in training delivery. The role also emphasizes collaboration with other instructors and staff to create a respectful and organized learning environment, while supporting initiatives related to greening and digitalization in vocational training.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Support the design and development of learning programs and curricula, including conducting occupational and competency analyses, drafting program profiles, and integrating new technologies.
• Facilitate the delivery of school-based and work-based learning programs, including preparing training venues, selecting trainees, and managing learning environments.
• Design and implement student assessments, including formative and summative assessments, and develop inclusive assessment plans.
• Build linkages with employers and analyze labor market information to inform training programs.
• Apply quality assurance tools and processes in accordance with UNRWA's TVET Quality Assurance Framework.
• Support greening and digitalization initiatives in training programs and develop synchronous and asynchronous training sessions.
• Collaborate with other instructors and staff to maintain a respectful learning environment and implement Occupational Health and Safety measures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree of four years from an accredited educational institution in a relevant field, such as Architecture, Interior Design, or a related discipline. Additional Notes:
This position is a daily paid assignment for up to three months, with the possibility of extension based on performance and funding availability. The daily rate for this position is $29.17, and the salary may be adjusted based on the work schedule. Additional benefits include one day of annual leave and one day of sick leave for each completed month of service.
