Job Overview: The consultant will play a crucial role in facilitating the comprehensive UNCT-SWAP Gender Equality Scorecard assessment for the UN Country Team in Armenia. This involves applying established methodologies and technical guidance to evaluate how effectively gender equality and the empowerment of women and girls are integrated into the UNCT's work. The consultant will be responsible for leading participatory methods to ensure that the assessment team is engaged from the outset, promoting ownership of the process. Duties and Responsibilities: The consultant's duties will include conducting a comprehensive desk review of relevant documents, developing a detailed methodology and workplan for the assessment, providing technical support to the Inter-Agency Assessment Team (IAT), and facilitating consultations with stakeholders. The consultant will assess the UNCT's performance against the UNCT-SWAP Gender Equality Scorecard indicators, identify strengths and gaps in gender mainstreaming, and facilitate the validation of findings with stakeholders.
