Job Overview:
The position of Consultant for Report Preparation ERCE 2025 involves supporting the Latin American Laboratory for Assessment and Quality of Education (LLECE) in the preparation and dissemination of reports related to the ERCE 2025 evaluation. The consultant will work on various projects that require the generation of reports, coordination, and communication of results to stakeholders in the education sector across South America. The consultant will collaborate with LLECE to ensure that the results of the ERCE 2025 evaluation are effectively communicated and utilized to inform educational policies and practices. This role requires a strong understanding of educational assessment and the ability to synthesize complex information into accessible reports for diverse audiences.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will be responsible for a range of duties including:

• Supporting the process of delivering results from the ERCE 2025 evaluation by reviewing and developing regional and national reports on learning outcomes, associated factors, socio-emotional skills, and writing.
• Collaborating with other consultants to ensure consistency in reporting across different countries.
• Developing communication materials such as briefs and presentations to disseminate findings to decision-makers and educational stakeholders.
• Assisting in the publication and dissemination of reports related to the curricular analysis of ERCE 202
• Coordinating the implementation of a regional study on best practices in outstanding educational centers, including technical assistance to countries and the publication of a comprehensive report.
• Participating in coordination meetings and contributing to the overall project management and reporting processes.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a postgraduate degree (equivalent to a Master's) in Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Educational Policy, or a related field. Additionally, candidates should have at least 8 years of demonstrated professional experience in educational assessment, including experience in the preparation and publication of national and international reports. Experience in project management and coordination at national or international levels is also required. Familiarity with international educational assessment frameworks and comparative studies is highly valued, as is experience working with international organizations or public bodies related to educational evaluation.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a postgraduate degree, which could be a Master's degree or equivalent, in fields such as Education, Psychology, Social Sciences, Educational Policies, or a related area. This advanced education is essential for understanding the complexities of educational assessments and the ability to analyze and interpret data effectively.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 8 years of professional experience in educational evaluation. Candidates should have a proven track record in the development and publication of reports, both at national and international levels. Experience in managing and coordinating educational projects, particularly those involving assessments, is crucial. Candidates with experience working with international organizations or public institutions related to educational evaluation will be given preference. Knowledge of international educational assessment frameworks and familiarity with comparative studies such as ERCE and PISA is also beneficial.

Languages:
Proficiency in Spanish is mandatory for this position, as the majority of the work will involve Spanish-speaking countries and stakeholders. The contract is for a duration of 11 months and is remote, meaning that the consultant does not need to reside in Santiago, Chile. The consultant will be required to submit monthly reports detailing activities and products as defined in the project planning.
