Job Overview:
The ICT Intern position is designed for individuals who are currently pursuing or have recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. The intern will play a crucial role in providing technical support to staff, assisting with the setup and maintenance of IT equipment, and ensuring the smooth operation of the organization's IT infrastructure. Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide first-line helpdesk support by troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues for staff members.
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of new computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices to ensure that all staff have the necessary tools to perform their duties effectively.
  • Help maintain the Local Area Network (LAN) by monitoring connectivity and troubleshooting basic Wi-Fi problems to ensure reliable internet access for all users.
  • Perform routine checks on IT equipment, apply necessary software updates, and assist with data backups and inventory tracking to maintain the integrity and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security of the organization's IT assets.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, IT asset logs, and troubleshooting guides to facilitate knowledge sharing and improve the efficiency of IT operations.

Required Qualifications:
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of operating systems such as Windows and macOS, as well as familiarity with network protocols and Microsoft 365 applications.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills to effectively assist staff with their IT needs.
  • A customer-service oriented mindset to ensure a positive experience for all users seeking technical support.
  • A strong work ethic, eagerness to learn, and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Educational Background:
Candidates should be currently enrolled in or have recently graduated from a Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. This educational background provides the foundational knowledge necessary for understanding IT systems and support processes.

Experience:
