Job Overview:
The position of Consultant for Technical Support in Delivering Regional Results is focused on contributing to the analysis of data from the Regional Comparative and Explanatory Study (ERCE) 202

• The consultant will be expected to engage in various activities that include analyzing learning achievements, associated factors, socio-emotional skills, and writing. The role requires generating necessary revisions and analyses for different publications, as well as developing diverse products for communication and delivery of ERCE results at both regional and national levels. This includes creating presentations, briefs, and other materials tailored to different audiences. The consultant will also be responsible for producing clear and precise visualizations based on ERCE results, deepening analyses, and systematizing information for various deliverables. Additionally, the consultant will provide technical support to the LLECE in other related processes and assist in other activities as needed by the institution. The position requires a presence in Chile for on-site work several days a week, emphasizing the importance of collaboration and communication within the team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant will have a comprehensive set of duties and responsibilities, including:

• Contributing to the analysis of ERCE 2025 data in areas such as learning achievements, associated factors, socio-emotional skills, and writing.
• Generating revisions and analyses required for various publications related to the ERCE.
• Developing and delivering diverse communication products, including presentations, briefs, and other materials, in coordination with the LLECE team.
• Creating clear and precise visualizations of ERCE results for different audiences.
• Deepening analyses based on ERCE results and systematizing information for various deliverables.
• Supporting the review and finalization of publications and dissemination materials related to ERCE 2025 and other LLECE initiatives.
• Providing technical support to the LLECE in other relevant processes.
• Assisting in additional LLECE activities as required, based on institutional needs.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for this position include:

• A master's degree in education, public policy, sociology, economics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of professional experience in data analysis and delivering results from large-scale assessments.
• Experience working in institutions related to large-scale evaluations, such as ministries of education or research centers, is highly valued.
• Knowledge of educational assessments, analysis, and use of educational results.
• Proficiency in managing information in databases and experience in delivering educational assessment results at national and/or international levels.
• Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in professional contexts and with diverse cultures.
• Strong planning and organizational abilities.

Educational Background:
Candidates must possess a master's degree in relevant fields such as education, public policy, sociology, or economics. This educational background is essential to ensure that the consultant has the necessary theoretical knowledge and practical skills to effectively analyze data and contribute to the objectives of the ERCE 2025 project.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in data analysis and the delivery of results from large-scale assessments. This experience should ideally be in contexts related to educational evaluations, where the consultant has demonstrated the ability to analyze complex data sets and communicate findings effectively. Experience in working with educational institutions, particularly those involved in large-scale evaluations, will be considered an asset.

Languages:
Proficiency in Spanish is mandatory for this position, as the consultant will be working primarily in a Spanish-speaking environment and will need to communicate effectively with various stakeholders. While not mandatory, knowledge of additional languages may be considered an advantage, particularly if it enhances the consultant's ability to engage with diverse audiences or stakeholders in the region.

Additional Notes:
The contract duration for this consultancy is between 6 to 9 months, with a requirement for the consultant to be present in Chile for on-site work several days a week. Candidates must have permission to work in Chile. Deliverables include a monthly report of activities and products based on the agreed-upon work plan at the start of the consultancy.
