Job Overview:
The Strategic Investment Fund is looking for an Associate to enhance its investment portfolio, particularly focusing on South Asia while also having the opportunity to engage in other regions. This full-time position is based in London and involves working closely with program strategy teams to understand their impact objectives. Duties and Responsibilities:
The Associate will be tasked with several key responsibilities, including: collaborating with program strategy teams to grasp their impact objectives; forming investment theses and sourcing investments in South Asia through outreach and relationship-building; joining deal teams to execute new investments, which involves evaluating opportunities, engaging in discussions with companies, structuring investments, leading due diligence, and negotiating legal documentation; presenting investment proposals to the Investment Committee; managing portfolio interactions, identifying strategic and financial opportunities, and ensuring that leadership is informed about portfolio performance.
