Job Overview:
The IDB Group is seeking an active undergraduate student for an internship-position" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">internship position under the Consultant modality. This internship is part of the 2027 Winter Internship Program, which is a competitive paid opportunity designed for university students from member countries. The program aims to provide participants with insights into development work and corporate management within the Bank, while also offering valuable professional experience through on-the-job learning. Interns will engage in various tasks, including reviewing reports in the Technical Cooperation Monitoring System (TCM), ensuring data quality, supporting operational teams, conducting data collection and analysis, and assisting in the preparation of Annual and Semi-Annual Reports for donors. This role is ideal for students looking to gain practical experience in a dynamic and impactful environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be responsible for reviewing reports of operations in the Technical Cooperation Monitoring System (TCM) to ensure data quality and accuracy. They will provide support to operational teams in utilizing the TCM effectively. Additionally, interns will conduct data collection and analysis, review project information for completeness, and assist Fund Coordinators in preparing Annual and Semi-Annual Reports for donors. The role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work under pressure, and effective time management skills to meet tight deadlines. Interns will also be expected to collaborate with team members and contribute to a positive work environment.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must be active undergraduate students enrolled in a program related to Economics, Public Policy, or Business Administration at an accredited university. They should have a graduation date that falls after the internship period. Additionally, candidates must be nationals of an IDB member country and should not have any family members working at the IDB or IDB Invest. This position is specifically for first-time participants in the IDB Group's Internship Program, and applicants must not have been former staff members or contractors for the Bank or Corporation.

Educational Background:
The educational requirement for this internship is that candidates must be active undergraduate students pursuing a degree in Economics, Public Policy, or Business Administration. They must be enrolled in their program as of the starting date of the internship and should have completed at least their second year of studies. The graduation date must be after the internship period, ensuring that students are still actively pursuing their education during the internship.

Experience:
This internship is designed for undergraduate students, and as such, no prior professional experience is required. However, candidates should demonstrate a strong willingness to learn and adapt to a professional environment. The internship serves as an entry-level opportunity for students to gain practical experience in the field of development work and corporate management.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for this position. Additionally, having a working knowledge of one other Bank language, such as Spanish, French, or Portuguese, is considered a plus and may enhance a candidate's application.
