Job Overview:
The Director of Organizational Development & Learning is a pivotal role within WWF, responsible for leading strategies that enhance organizational effectiveness, leadership capabilities, workforce readiness, and the embodiment of WWF’s core values. This position requires collaboration with senior leaders to advance organizational design, change management, and talent management initiatives. The Director will oversee enterprise learning and leadership programs, utilizing data to measure impact and build the necessary capabilities to fulfill WWF’s strategic priorities. This role is crucial in ensuring that the organization is equipped with the right skills and knowledge to meet its conservation goals and adapt to the evolving challenges in the environmental sector.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Director will develop, implement, and evaluate the Organizational Development & Learning strategy in alignment with WWF’s People & Culture priorities. Key responsibilities include leading the people and organizational aspects of enterprise change initiatives, designing and delivering leadership and employee development programs, and managing talent and organizational effectiveness practices. The Director will oversee the annual learning curriculum, lead WWF’s artificial intelligence learning initiative, manage coaching and assessment programs, facilitate learning sessions, and manage the organizational development and learning budget. Additionally, the Director will chair WWF’s Learning Committee and represent People & Culture in related forums, ensuring high-quality outcomes are delivered on time and within budget.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in organizational development, human resources, psychology, education, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in organizational development, learning and development, or talent management is required. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated success in designing and leading enterprise organization development initiatives, change management, and leadership development programs. Strong consulting, facilitation, coaching, communication, and stakeholder-management skills are essential, along with experience in leading teams and managing complex projects and budgets. Advanced knowledge of adult learning principles and organizational behavior is also required.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is mandatory, with a preference for candidates holding a Master’s degree in organizational development, industrial-organizational psychology, learning, business administration, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications such as SHRM-SCP, coaching, Hogan, MBTI, EQ-I 360, or comparable credentials are preferred, indicating a commitment to professional development and expertise in the field.

Experience:
The position requires at least 10 years of progressive experience in organizational development, learning and development, or talent management. Candidates should have a proven track record as a practitioner and function leader/manager in Organizational Development and Learning, demonstrating the ability to lead enterprise-wide initiatives and manage complex, cross-functional projects effectively.

Languages:
