Job Overview:
The WFP Business Transformation Officer position is crucial for partnering with various business units to understand their operational needs and requests. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the WFP Business Transformation Officer include:
  • Capturing, analyzing, and documenting business requirements for IT solutions and services in accordance with WFP policies and standards.
  • Collaborating with senior team members to communicate business requirements effectively to counterparts.
  • Baselining and tracking business requirements through implementation to manage change efficiently.
  • Testing and analyzing IT solutions to ensure they meet business requirements for quality and accuracy.
  • Maintaining contact with business counterparts to facilitate the flow of requests into IT and keep them updated on actions taken.
  • Keeping the service catalog of IT solutions current, including those that are retired or in the pipeline.
  • Reviewing IT service levels against SLAs and alerting service managers of any discrepancies.
  • Assisting project managers in managing estimates, business cases, planning, risk identification, and issue management for effective IT solution delivery.
  • Adhering to processes and procedures for Business Relationship Management, Business Analysis, and IT Project Management to ensure compliance and consistency.

Required Qualifications:
The required qualifications for the WFP Business Transformation Officer position include:
  • An advanced university degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or a first university degree with additional years of relevant work experience or training.
  • Proven experience in user support activities that result in timely and high-quality service delivery to the user community.
  • Experience in modeling data and information flows to document key decisions and results.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

Educational Background:
