Job Overview:
The Senior AI Platform Engineer will be part of the Productivity & Collaboration team within Global Technology Operations. This team is responsible for delivering essential productivity, collaboration, knowledge, automation, and AI-enabled workplace capabilities that enhance the effectiveness and security" style="border-bottom: 1px dotted #007bff !important;">security of the foundation's staff. The role involves working with various Microsoft 365 tools, including Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, and other enterprise AI tools to create integrated solutions rather than isolated applications. The engineer will play a crucial role in scaling AI responsibly by implementing enterprise AI strategies and governance into secure platform patterns and sustainable operations, ultimately driving measurable business value. The position requires collaboration with various stakeholders, including Technical Program Managers, platform engineers, and business partners, to ensure that AI solutions align with organizational goals and compliance requirements.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Senior AI Platform Engineer will be responsible for designing, building, integrating, governing, and operating AI-powered experiences that enhance staff productivity and collaboration. Key duties include:
  • AI Solution Engineering: Develop and support AI-enabled solutions using Microsoft 365 Copilot, Power Platform, and Azure AI services.
  • Governance: Define engineering standards for AI agents, including ownership, access, and lifecycle management.
  • Power Platform Engineering: Establish technical patterns for low-code solutions and help mature governance models.
  • Data Readiness: Improve the quality and security of Microsoft 365 data for AI applications.
  • Operations: Build operational practices for AI platforms, including monitoring and cost management.
  • Security: Design secure data access patterns and evaluate AI solutions for compliance and operational supportability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with various teams to move AI scenarios from concept to production support.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on AI trends and evaluate new capabilities for adoption.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of 10 years of relevant experience in AI engineering, software engineering, or related fields. They should have hands-on experience with enterprise AI solutions, particularly those utilizing large language models and AI agents. Familiarity with Microsoft 365 tools, including Copilot and Power Platform, is essential. Candidates should also have experience in designing secure data access patterns and improving data readiness for AI applications. Strong engineering judgment, documentation skills, and the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions are required. Excellent communication skills are necessary to convey technical concepts to diverse audiences.

Educational Background:
