Job Overview:
The consultant will play a crucial role in supporting the AI Track of the World Investment Forum (WIF). This position involves identifying and onboarding relevant stakeholders, facilitating private-sector engagement, and managing event-related activities. The consultant will work closely with the project manager to ensure effective coordination and execution of the AI Track, which is a significant component of the WIF. The role requires a proactive approach to stakeholder management and event organization, ensuring that all necessary preparations are made for successful outcomes. The consultant will also be responsible for post-event follow-up and the implementation of agreed actions with partner organizations, ensuring that the objectives of the AI Track are met and that ongoing engagement with stakeholders is maintained.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Under the guidance of the project manager, the consultant will undertake several key responsibilities:

• Support private-sector and multi-stakeholder engagement for the AI Track of the WIF, including conducting due diligence and risk assessments of relevant entities.
• Facilitate the formal invitation process for speakers and participants, ensuring that all logistical aspects of event management are addressed.
• Maintain communication with private-sector representatives and multi-stakeholder entities, keeping detailed engagement records and assisting in preparatory administrative tasks.
• Provide targeted support throughout the preparation, implementation, and follow-up phases of the AI Track, ensuring that all stakeholder engagements are effectively managed.
• Assist in the implementation of post-event deliverables and follow-up activities, collaborating with partner organizations to advance the outcomes of the AI Track.
• Facilitate ongoing engagement with relevant partners to ensure the sustainability of initiatives and actions agreed upon during the WIF.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree (Master's) in international relations, economics, law, public policy, business administration, or a related field. Additionally, at least 7 years of relevant professional experience is required, specifically in areas such as private-sector engagement, institutional risk management, due diligence, compliance, or integrity frameworks. Experience in designing, assessing, or strengthening these processes within international organizations, multilateral institutions, or financial institutions is essential.

Educational Background:
The educational requirement for this position is an advanced university degree, specifically a Master's degree, in fields such as international relations, economics, law, public policy, or business administration. This educational background is crucial for understanding the complexities of international trade and development, as well as the regulatory frameworks that govern private-sector engagement.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 7 years of relevant professional experience. This experience should encompass private-sector engagement, institutional risk management, and compliance frameworks. Candidates should have a proven track record of working within international organizations or comparable settings, demonstrating their ability to navigate complex stakeholder environments and manage event-related activities effectively.

Languages:
Fluency in spoken and written English is mandatory for this position, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization. Knowledge of French is considered desirable, as it may facilitate better engagement with French-speaking stakeholders and partners.
