The Project Assistant will assist in data collection, report generation, and analysis, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the project. This position requires collaboration with the Chief of the Transport Connectivity and Logistics Section and the project officer, as well as engagement with stakeholders during consultations. The expected duration of the project is from August 21, 2026, to April 21, 2027, indicating a long-term commitment to improving transport connectivity in the region.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Project Assistant include:
  • Regularly reviewing the technical data and interface of the APTN platform to ensure its functionality and relevance.
  • Assisting in the collection and analysis of data related to transport connectivity.
  • Providing logistical support for virtual sub-regional consultations, ensuring that all necessary arrangements are in place for effective communication and collaboration.
  • Testing updated APTN tools and features to ensure they meet the needs of policymakers and stakeholders.
  • Supporting the project officer in various ad hoc tasks as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the project.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent qualification. Candidates should possess at least six months of experience in areas related to transport or sustainable development. Educational Background:
