Job Overview: The ServiceNow Developer position focuses on the Automated Test Framework (ATF) Development, playing a crucial role in the enterprise IT transformation at EBRD. This role requires a hands-on approach, where the developer will not only build test cases but also engage deeply in the development lifecycle. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining ATF suites across key ServiceNow modules, ensuring that the platform is enhanced and optimized for performance. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the ServiceNow Developer include: developing and maintaining robust ATF test cases for ITSM, ITOM, SPM, and custom applications; writing scripts in JavaScript and Glide APIs to support testing and feature development; collaborating with platform engineers to ensure comprehensive test coverage for new functionalities and hotfixes; contributing to enhancements across various modules, including workflows, UI policies, business rules, and catalogue items; supporting platform upgrades and release validations through both automated and manual testing; building dashboards and reports using Performance Analytics; assisting in the configuration of ITSM and ITOM modules; supporting the population of CMDB and CI data hygiene; contributing to the development of standard reports and dashboards; diagnosing and resolving user issues related to ServiceNow modules; preparing and updating documentation; and following platform governance guidelines to ensure compliance with EBRD policies and best practices.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess previous hands-on experience developing in ServiceNow, with a strong knowledge of the ATF framework, test case design, and regression testing strategies. Solid scripting and debugging skills are essential, along with experience working in ITIL-aligned environments. A proactive mindset focused on quality, automation, and continuous improvement is highly desirable. Familiarity with ITOM capabilities and the ability to follow guidelines while collaborating with senior team members to support module enhancements are also required. Educational Background: A degree level education or equivalent professional experience is required for this position.
