Duties and Responsibilities:
The Protection Case Management Assistant will have a diverse set of responsibilities, including but not limited to: providing interpretation during RSD, resettlement, and complementary pathway interviews; translating documents related to protection cases; traveling with RSD-RST and CPW staff for field missions; ensuring the accuracy of terminology used during interviews; providing counseling and responding to queries from asylum seekers and refugees; conducting phone screenings and identification interviews; preparing written documentation for case processing; updating the UNHCR database (proGres) and maintaining electronic records; assisting with post-submission activities; and performing other related duties as required. The assistant will play a vital role in ensuring that the protection needs of refugees are met and that they receive the necessary support throughout their journey.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a High School Diploma or higher, with relevant experience in humanitarian or related fields. A minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience, particularly with UNHCR or similar organizations in protection-related activities, is required. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of the challenges faced by refugees and the protection mechanisms in place to assist them. Additionally, candidates must be IT-computer literate and familiar with UNHCR databases, which will be an asset in performing their duties effectively.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes at least a High School Diploma. However, higher educational qualifications in fields related to humanitarian work, social sciences, or international relations may be advantageous. Experience:
