Job Overview:
As the Executive Officer to the State Director, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the effectiveness of the Queensland Leadership Team. Your responsibilities will include providing strategic advice and executive support to the State Director, ensuring that priorities are clearly defined and that critical initiatives are executed efficiently. Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Preparing high-quality briefings, reports, board papers, and communications to support informed decision-making processes.
  • Building and nurturing strong relationships with government, partners, funders, and senior stakeholders to facilitate collaboration and support for initiatives.
  • Coordinating strategic initiatives, governance activities, and cross-functional projects across Queensland to ensure effective implementation.
  • Managing critical information, contracts, and reporting processes to ensure that organizational priorities are delivered efficiently and effectively.
  • Engaging in high-level stakeholder management and communication to influence and drive organizational objectives.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess significant experience in a senior advisory, executive coordination, chief-of-staff, or similar role. Exceptional written communication skills are required, particularly in preparing briefs, reports, board papers, and executive correspondence. Demonstrated experience in supporting senior leaders and governance processes within a complex organization is essential. Strong stakeholder management skills are also necessary, ideally with experience engaging with government and external partners.
