The incumbent will also be responsible for cross-checking databases to ensure accuracy, maintaining relationships with partners, training internal staff and partners on database usage, troubleshooting database issues, and representing UNHCR at cash assistance-related meetings. Additionally, the CBI Associate will undertake field visits to monitor cash projects, coordinate with partners on beneficiary lists, and manage risks associated with cash assistance operations. The role requires a proactive approach to decision-making and problem-solving, ensuring that cash assistance is delivered in a timely and effective manner.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the CBI Associate position must possess a minimum of three years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma, or two years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree or higher. Essential qualifications include previous data management experience, preferably in a cash-based intervention context, and excellent knowledge of computer software and database applications. Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server (2005 or later) is also required. Desirable qualifications include knowledge of UNHCR programs and activities, experience in cash-based interventions, and working knowledge of programming languages such as C# and ASP.net, as well as statistical software like R, Python, or Stata.
