Job Overview:
The Fundraising Partnerships Officer will play a pivotal role in establishing and nurturing meaningful relationships with both current and prospective donors throughout the entire donor cycle. This position involves managing formal obligations such as proposal preparation and reporting, which are essential for generating financial and strategic support for CERN. The officer will be responsible for identifying funding opportunities, securing donations and grants, and building partnerships with corporations and foundations. The role requires the development and implementation of effective fundraising strategies tailored to CERN's projects, ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and goals. The officer will also be tasked with tracking, analyzing, and reporting on fundraising performance and partnership impact, collaborating with internal teams to prepare donor agreements and reports, and conceptualizing communications materials for fundraising purposes. Duties and Responsibilities:
The duties and responsibilities of the Fundraising Partnerships Officer include:

• Developing and implementing comprehensive fundraising strategies for various CERN projects.
• Identifying, qualifying, cultivating, and stewarding relationships with donors, which includes planning and conducting donor meetings, events, and experiences.
• Researching and pursuing funding opportunities with foundations, including writing proposals and reports to secure financial support.
• Tracking, analyzing, and reporting on fundraising performance metrics and the impact of partnerships.
• Collaborating with internal teams to ensure fundraising efforts align with project goals and preparing necessary donor agreements and reports.
• Conceptualizing and producing effective communications materials aimed at fundraising efforts.
• Supporting the Due Diligence process to ensure compliance and transparency in fundraising activities.

Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Fundraising Partnerships Officer position should possess a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent relevant experience in Fundraising, International Relations, or a related field. Additionally, candidates should have experience in fundraising, grants management, donor reporting, and stewardship within a non-profit charitable context. A proven ability to meet financial targets and manage multiple projects simultaneously is essential. Candidates should also demonstrate experience contributing to initiatives that align with organizational mission and values, delivering measurable impact. Experience in fundraising for science and education or related fields is considered an asset, as is familiarity with graphic design software.

Additional Notes:
This position is offered as a limited duration contract for 2 years, with the possibility of extension up to 8 years and eligibility for an indefinite contract tenure. The working hours are set at 40 hours per week, and the position is fully onsite at CERN. The role may require work during nights, Sundays, and official holidays, depending on the organization's needs.
