Job Overview:
As an Associate Business Analyst at EBRD, you will play a crucial role in the Chief Transformation Office Group, focusing on redesigning critical workflows that underpin the Bank's investment activities. This position requires a strong passion for creating impactful solutions in the banking sector. You will collaborate closely with various teams, including Banking, Impact, and Risk, to gather, analyze, and refine both business and technical requirements. Your work will involve end-to-end process redesign, ensuring that the solutions developed are user-centric and alleviate pressure points for bankers. You will also be responsible for translating business needs into actionable insights and technical requirements, making your role vital in shaping the future of the Bank's operations.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Your primary responsibilities will include working on 1-2 projects as either a Project Manager or Business Analyst, engaging with stakeholders through interviews and workshops to capture and prioritize business requirements. You will conduct thorough analyses of end-to-end business processes to understand the impact of changes and create alignment between technical and business capabilities. Additionally, you will assess data sets to identify differences and bottlenecks, promote Agile principles within the team, and maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle. You will also support testing and business readiness as new functionalities are deployed into production, ensuring that the solutions meet the needs of business users effectively.

Required Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess a relevant degree or equivalent experience in Financial Services or Corporate/Investment Banking. Certifications such as Prince 2 Agile, Lean/Six Sigma, Business Analysis, or SCRUM are advantageous. You should have relevant experience in conducting Agile business analysis and formulating business cases or ROI. A sound understanding of the IT project delivery lifecycle and banking processes is essential, along with strong analytical skills and the ability to develop deep business knowledge. You must be confident in working closely with Product Owners, SMEs, and business stakeholders to translate needs into requirements effectively.

Educational Background:
A relevant degree in business, finance, economics, or a related field is required for this position. Equivalent experience in a relevant function within the financial services sector may also be considered. Continuous professional development through certifications in Agile methodologies and business analysis is highly valued.

Experience:
Candidates should have a proven track record of delivering innovative IT initiatives, with relevant experience in business analysis within the financial services sector. Experience in Agile methodologies and a strong understanding of banking processes will be beneficial. The ideal candidate will have a history of working collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve project goals.

Languages:
Fluency in English is mandatory for this position, as it is the primary language of communication within the organization. Knowledge of additional languages relevant to the EBRD's operational regions would be considered an asset, enhancing your ability to engage with diverse stakeholders.
