Job Overview:
The consultant will play a crucial role in facilitating and documenting the work of the Policy Network on Open Digital Infrastructure (PNODI), which is part of the IGF's broader initiative to enhance multi-stakeholder cooperation in Internet governance. This position involves hosting and reporting on PNODI meetings, synthesizing discussions, and drafting outputs that will be presented at the 21st Annual Meeting of the Internet Governance Forum. The consultant is expected to engage with various stakeholders, ensuring that the outputs produced are reflective of diverse perspectives and contribute meaningfully to policy discussions on digital infrastructure. The role requires a high level of analytical capability, as the consultant will need to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights that can inform decision-making processes. The consultant will also be responsible for maintaining a collaborative environment that encourages participation from all stakeholders involved in the PNODI.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The consultant's primary duties will include:

• Facilitating and documenting meetings of the Policy Network on Open Digital Infrastructure (PNODI), ensuring that discussions are captured accurately and comprehensively.
• Synthesizing community discussions and outputs, demonstrating a high level of knowledge of Internet governance and digital infrastructure issues.
• Drafting high-quality reports and meeting summaries that reflect the insights gained from PNODI meetings and discussions.
• Presenting and discussing outputs during dedicated sessions at the 21st Annual Meeting of the Internet Governance Forum, engaging with participants to gather feedback and refine outputs.
• Collaborating with the MAG issue coordinator(s) and other PNODI participants to ensure timely submission of outputs and adherence to project timelines.
• Maintaining open lines of communication with stakeholders to foster a collaborative atmosphere and encourage ongoing participation in the PNODI.

Required Qualifications:
The position requires a Master's degree in information communication technologies, social sciences, development studies, management, or other relevant disciplines. Alternatively, candidates may possess a Bachelor's degree with two additional years of relevant work experience. A minimum of five years of professional experience is essential, particularly in areas related to ICTs, Internet governance, digital public policymaking, and capacity building. Candidates should have considerable experience in drafting high-level reports and synthesizing complex information. Demonstrated expertise in Internet infrastructure, open-source ecosystems, and digital standards is also required. Excellent written and oral communication skills in English are mandatory, with proficiency in another official UN language being desirable.

Educational Background:
Candidates must hold a Master's degree in a relevant field such as information communication technologies, social sciences, development studies, or management. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree combined with two additional years of relevant work experience may be accepted. The educational background should provide a solid foundation in the principles of digital governance and policy-making, equipping the candidate with the necessary analytical skills to navigate complex discussions surrounding Internet governance.

Experience:
The consultant should have a minimum of five years of professional experience, particularly in analytical roles related to ICTs, Internet governance, and digital public policymaking. This experience should include significant involvement in drafting reports, meeting summaries, and synthesizing complex information. Candidates should demonstrate a strong understanding of the digital landscape and possess the ability to engage with diverse stakeholders effectively.

Languages:
Excellent written and oral English language skills are required for this position. Knowledge of another official UN language is considered desirable, as it may enhance communication with a broader range of stakeholders and facilitate participation in international discussions.
