Job Overview: The Family Support Specialist position is a full-time, permanent role within the Domestic and Family Violence and Sexual Assault programs. The specialist will work within a case management framework in an outreach capacity, providing essential support to individuals and families affected by domestic and family violence. The specialist will also be expected to maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders, ensuring favorable outcomes for those they support.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must demonstrate experience in case management and possess knowledge of relevant legislation pertaining to domestic and family violence. A strong understanding of the impact of trauma on children and families is essential, along with experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
