Job Overview:
The Analyst position at EBRD is crucial for supporting the effective management of donor-funded resources through the Bank's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. The role requires the Analyst to collaborate closely with various departments, including Impact & Partnerships, Donor Funds Accounting, and Banking and policy teams. The Analyst will serve as a subject matter expert on the products covered by their team, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of the end-to-end donor-funded processes. Key responsibilities include recording, checking, and posting transactions daily, verifying data accuracy, and ensuring compliance with both donor and Bank requirements. The Analyst must also work efficiently under tight deadlines while maintaining strong communication with internal clients across multiple departments.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Analyst will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: setting up, changing, and closing funds in the ERP system; managing the earmarking process in accordance with legal agreements; providing advisory services to internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with donor requirements; contributing to the development and improvement of processes and controls; conducting investigations and inspections of data and processes to identify compliance issues; providing documentation for internal and external audits; supporting the Impact & Partnerships team in fund management; issuing billings for donor contributions; ensuring accurate entry of currencies and exchange rates; supporting the timely closure of earmarks and donor funds; generating reports and summaries from the ERP system; monitoring and forecasting donor fund availability; and analyzing data to drive decision-making and process improvements.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a university degree and demonstrate strong knowledge of the Bank's ERP system. A solid understanding of financial management principles, particularly in relation to donor-funded business, is essential. Candidates should also exhibit strong numerical and financial skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial information. Effective organizational and prioritization skills are necessary to meet deadlines, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Power Platforms, particularly Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps, is required, as is experience in dashboard creation and data visualization. Knowledge of automation tools to streamline processes is also advantageous, as is the ability to build partnerships and collaborate effectively with others.

Educational Background:
A university degree is required for this position, ideally in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field. Candidates with advanced degrees or certifications in financial management or accounting may be preferred, as these qualifications can enhance the candidate's understanding of the financial processes relevant to the role.

Experience:
The position requires candidates to have relevant experience in financial management, accounting, or a related field. Experience working with ERP systems, particularly in a donor-funded context, is highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a proven track record of effectively managing financial transactions and ensuring compliance with organizational and donor requirements. Experience in a similar role within an international organization or financial institution would be beneficial.

Languages:
Fluency in English, both verbal and written, is mandatory for this position. Candidates who possess additional language skills, particularly in languages relevant to the EBRD's operational regions, may have an advantage in the selection process.
