Job Overview:
The position of Online Volunteer Translator involves translating the Guidelines for Marriages and Divorces registration from English to Arabic. This role is crucial as the translated documents will be shared with member states and development partners involved in the civil registration system. The task requires collaboration between two volunteers for each language, where one volunteer will focus on the translation while the other will validate the translated version to ensure quality and accuracy. The selected volunteers will receive all necessary information and materials to perform their tasks effectively, contributing to the overall mission of UNFPA in enhancing civil registration processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Translate the Guidelines for Marriages and Divorces registration from English to Arabic, ensuring that the translation is accurate and culturally appropriate.
  • Collaborate with another volunteer who will validate the translation, providing feedback and suggestions for improvement.
  • Utilize provided materials and information to enhance the quality of the translation.
  • Ensure that the final translated documents meet the standards required for sharing with member states and development partners.
