Job Overview:
The position of Online Volunteer Translator involves translating the Guidelines for Marriages and Divorces Registration from English to French. This role is crucial as the translated documents will be shared with member states and development partners involved in the civil registration system. The task requires two volunteers for each language, where one will be responsible for the translation and the other for validating the translated version. The selected volunteers will receive all necessary information and materials to perform their tasks effectively. The goal is to ensure high-quality translations that enhance accuracy and meet the standards required for official documentation.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Translate the Guidelines for Marriages and Divorces Registration from English to French, ensuring accuracy and clarity in the translation.
• Collaborate with another volunteer who will validate the translated content to ensure it meets quality standards.
• Review and revise translations based on feedback from the validation process.
• Ensure that the translations are culturally appropriate and relevant to the target audience.
• Maintain communication with UNFPA representatives to clarify any doubts or seek guidance during the translation process.
• Submit completed translations and any necessary documentation by the agreed deadlines.
• Participate in any training or orientation sessions provided by UNFPA to understand the context and importance of the guidelines being translated.
