Job Overview:
The Manager for AI, Analytics, and Digital will lead a multidisciplinary team focused on integrating AI into the World Bank Group's communications and external relations (ECR) ecosystem. This role is pivotal in overseeing AI effectiveness, data-informed content strategy, and creative output. The Manager will ensure that content production is guided by insights derived from data analytics and audience research. The ideal candidate will blend AI expertise with creative vision and analytical rigor to maximize the impact of communications across various channels. Responsibilities include developing a content strategy informed by data, leading creative services, modernizing translation platforms, and collaborating with research teams to make complex information accessible to external audiences. The position requires a proactive approach to exploring new content formats and platforms, ensuring that the World Bank Group's content strategy remains innovative and effective.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Manager will oversee the integration of AI into the ECR ecosystem, focusing on media monitoring, measurement, and analytics. They will establish KPIs for evaluating communication effectiveness and present regular reports to senior leadership. The role includes developing a content strategy based on data analytics, leading a creative services team to produce high-quality content, modernizing translation services with AI tools, and collaborating with research teams to create accessible communications. The Manager will also work closely with other communications managers to align content themes and foster a culture of innovation within the organization.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in data science, information technology, communications, or related fields, along with 12 years of substantial professional experience in progressively complex roles. A direct background in data science and AI is preferred. Candidates should demonstrate the ability to interpret data for decision-making in content creation, proficiency with analytics tools, and experience in integrating emerging technologies into content workflows. Strong organizational skills, outstanding communication abilities, and experience in multicultural environments are essential.

Educational Background:
An advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in relevant fields such as data science, information technology, or communications is required. This educational background should be complemented by substantial professional experience in related roles, ideally with a focus on data science and AI.

Experience:
Candidates should have at least 12 years of experience in positions of increasing complexity and responsibility, with a strong emphasis on data-driven decision-making and content creation. Experience managing creative teams and projects from concept to execution is crucial, as is familiarity with AI tools for content creation and analysis.

Languages:
The mandatory language for this position is English. While no additional languages are specified as preferred, familiarity with translation and localization processes is beneficial, especially in multicultural contexts.
