Job Overview:
The IT department at the IRC is responsible for providing comprehensive end-to-end solutions that encompass Application Development, Integration and Management, Enterprise Architecture, User Experience, Quality Assurance & Testing, and overall Project Management. The Technical Business Systems Analyst plays a crucial role in enhancing the efficient setup and deployment of business applications within the organization, focusing particularly on the financial, supply chain, and project management domains. This position requires collaboration with IT colleagues and business partners to ensure that the applications meet end-user needs and align with IRC's mission. The analyst will lead the design and delivery of AI-powered solutions within D365 Finance & Operations, identifying high-value use cases for automation and intelligent workflows that improve operational processes.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Technical Business Systems Analyst will be responsible for collaborating with Business System Analysts, business users, and other stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions. This includes participating in design reviews, providing technical recommendations, and creating and maintaining technical documentation such as design specifications and deployment guides. The analyst will lead the design and delivery of AI-powered solutions, architecting and implementing integrations between D365 F&O and Azure AI services. They will also configure and extend Copilot Studio and Power Automate to build autonomous agents and AI-driven workflows. The role involves evaluating emerging AI technologies, managing relationships with software vendors, and providing Level 3 support for enterprise systems. Additionally, the analyst will support deployment activities, conduct unit testing, and coordinate with QA teams for testing across systems.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field, along with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience developing with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations. Strong proficiency in the X++ programming language is essential, as well as proven experience in gathering, analyzing, and detailing cross-functional business, functional, and technical requirements. Knowledge of D365 F&O architecture, data models, and proficiency in SQL Server and T-SQL for database operations are also required. Candidates should have experience with reporting tools such as SSRS and Power BI, and demonstrate superb communication skills, both verbal and written, with a strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.

Educational Background:
A Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field is required for this position. This educational background provides the foundational knowledge necessary for understanding complex IT systems and business processes, which is critical for the role of Technical Business Systems Analyst.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience specifically with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations.
