Job Overview:
The role of the Asistente de logística is crucial for the daily implementation of logistics management activities related to the specific needs of projects, encompassing both goods and services. This position is responsible for ensuring compliance with operational, regulatory, and financial standards, thereby guaranteeing efficient, transparent logistics processes that align with institutional policies and donor requirements. The Asistente de logística will support the logistics function's portfolio in accordance with the Action Plan, providing logistical administration and basic support across all organizational areas. The position requires the preparation and development of status reports as required by management, ensuring the proper presentation of all supporting documents to the financial unit, and participating in the planning and delivery of logistics activities. Additionally, the role involves maintaining documentary records of logistics management and promoting ideas for improving logistics functions.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Asistente de logística will implement NRC's policies, SOPs, manuals, guidelines, and donor requirements in daily logistics activities. Responsibilities include supporting market analysis for procurement, participating in project purchasing planning, executing procurement processes according to organizational guidelines, and ensuring compliance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs) in logistics procedures. The role also involves managing warehouse operations, ensuring proper storage and rotation of stock, maintaining accurate records of NRC's assets, and supervising the packaging, loading, and unloading of materials. The Asistente de logística will coordinate transportation requests, manage vehicle maintenance, and ensure that all vehicles are equipped with necessary documents and equipment. Furthermore, the position requires the timely and accurate entry of data into the fleet management system and the preparation of reports on vehicle usage and fuel consumption.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a technical or technological degree or be in the final semesters of studies in Business Administration, Logistics Management, International Business, or similar fields. A minimum of two years of work experience in support functions within humanitarian contexts is required, along with proven experience in complex and changing environments. Candidates should have a basic understanding of the English language and demonstrate competencies, knowledge, and experience relevant to the context of the role. Solid knowledge in Supply Chain Management, Warehouse Management, Asset Management, and Fleet Management is essential, as well as proficiency in MS Office applications and experience with ERP software.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes a technical or technological degree in fields such as Business Administration, Logistics Management, International Business, or related areas. Candidates who are in the final semesters of their studies in these disciplines are also encouraged to apply, as they may possess the necessary theoretical knowledge and skills relevant to the logistics function.

Experience:
