Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be responsible for a variety of tasks that support the work of the Office of the SRSG-VAC. These include monitoring developments related to violence against children, assisting with administrative tasks, organizing conferences and meetings, taking notes, and summarizing discussions. Interns will also conduct research, update country profiles, and prepare for country visits. A significant aspect of the role involves enhancing child participation in the Office's work, which includes preparing child-friendly documents and documenting youth-led initiatives. Interns may accompany team members to meetings with delegates and participate in discussions at various UN sessions. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by the supervisor as needed.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this internship, applicants must be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program (second university degree or equivalent) or be in the final year of a first university degree program (minimum bachelor's level). No prior work experience is required, but relevant training, education, or skills that can benefit the UN during the internship are essential. Educational Background:
