Duties and Responsibilities:
The intern will be responsible for a variety of tasks within the software development team, including: developing, delivering, and supporting the DevOps pipeline to enhance the efficiency of application systems; building, developing, and deploying AI-powered applications using Python and related frameworks; designing and developing Azure AI Services; setting up data ingestion pipelines; developing search-related components using Azure AI Search; deploying AI/ML models on Azure technologies; collaborating with MLOps engineers to integrate MLOps practices into the development lifecycle; providing technical expertise in designing and implementing AI applications; developing unit tests and automated regression packs; conducting thorough testing and validation of AI models; documenting AI solutions and processes for knowledge transfer; and staying current with industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates for the Azure AI/ML Engineer Intern position should possess a strong proficiency in Python and have completed either an undergraduate or master's degree in a relevant field within the last three years. While 1+ years of experience in software development is preferred, it is not essential. A basic understanding of AI and ML concepts is advantageous, but the EBRD is open to enthusiastic individuals eager to learn and grow in this space.
