Job Overview: The Senior Private Sector Partnerships Individual Giving Associate plays a crucial role within UNHCR's Private Sector Partnerships Service (PSP), which is responsible for mobilizing resources from the private sector to support refugees. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties of the Senior PSP Individual Giving Associate include developing annual plans for donor acquisition and retention, managing donor communications, and supervising fundraising campaigns. The associate will oversee the implementation of various fundraising strategies, including face-to-face fundraising, digital campaigns, and direct mail initiatives. Responsibilities also include managing donor databases, ensuring data accuracy, and analyzing donor information to inform strategies. The associate will lead the development of donor journeys, supervise donor care activities, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Additionally, the role involves negotiating with suppliers, managing budgets, and reporting on fundraising performance to optimize results.
Required Qualifications: Candidates must possess a minimum of four years of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or two years of experience with a Bachelor's degree or higher. Essential qualifications include experience in private sector fundraising, client communication, and marketing. Proven experience in donor retention and development programs, as well as in coordinating fundraising campaigns, is required. Familiarity with fundraising databases and software is also essential. Desirable qualifications include experience in the non-profit sector, project management, and data analysis.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a High School Diploma or equivalent, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Relevant certifications in these areas are also beneficial and may enhance a candidate's application.
Experience: The position requires candidates to have significant experience in private sector fundraising, sales, or marketing, with a strong emphasis on donor communication and retention strategies. Experience in managing fundraising campaigns, particularly in the non-profit sector, is highly valued.
