Job Overview:
The Logistics and Administration Officer plays a crucial role in supporting the operational functions of the Norwegian Refugee Council in Kenya. This position is responsible for implementing logistics and administrative functions according to the organization's Plan of Action. Additionally, the officer will handle procurement processes, prepare RFQs, draft supplier contracts, liaise with suppliers, facilitate the dispatch of supplies, and manage office vehicles. The role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Business Administration or a logistics-related field. A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role is required, with a preference for candidates who have worked in humanitarian or recovery contexts. Documented results related to the position’s responsibilities are essential, along with knowledge of English, Swahili, and a local language. Familiarity with the context in Dadaab and Fafi sub-Counties is crucial, and experience working with international NGOs in a similar capacity will be considered an advantage.

Educational Background:
The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor’s Degree or Higher Diploma in Business Administration or a logistics-related field.
