Job Overview:
The Email Developer (Fundraising) will be a vital member of the Online Fundraising team, reporting to the Email Manager for Fundraising products. This role focuses on the production of multilingual fundraising and engagement campaigns, particularly through email. The position emphasizes the importance of controlled A/B testing to enhance the online donor pipeline, reaching over 15 million individuals annually while respecting donor preferences. The Email Developer will lead the creation of bug-free email and banner templates that function seamlessly across various browsers and devices, implement automated email journeys, and identify opportunities for process improvements and revenue optimizations. This role is crucial in communicating to Wikipedia readers and donors the value of supporting free knowledge.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Email Developer (Fundraising) will be responsible for several key tasks, including: collaborating closely with Senior Email Campaign Specialists to code emails that deliver high-quality messages tailored to donors' languages and cultures; coordinating with various teams to ensure the successful execution of campaign strategies, including timelines, new features, and A/B tests; developing expertise in Wikimedia's email and digital fundraising procedures to address challenges; guiding the Campaigns team in optimizing email coding through understanding the nuances of the Email Service Provider (ESP); ensuring comprehensive quality assurance for error-free emails; assisting in managing project priorities and tracking development; segmenting audiences for targeted email campaigns; working with Associates to refine code in templates and maintain archives; supporting the Growth & Campaigns team with web development for banners on Wikipedia; and documenting processes and summaries for future reference.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates should possess at least 1 year of experience in coding HTML emails, demonstrating solid proficiency in HTML and CSS. Experience in creating dynamic content and personalization for emails is essential, along with a background in project coordination and collaboration in a team environment. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality assurance are crucial, as are strong organizational skills to balance daily responsibilities with long-term projects.

Educational Background:
