Duties and Responsibilities:
Interns will be responsible for a range of tasks including: drafting Spanish news articles by integrating and translating information from various sources such as reports and press releases; translating English video scripts and captions into Spanish; proofreading articles before and after publication; assisting with fact-checking and background research; producing graphic, visual, and audio content; conducting research and interviews for feature stories; collaborating with the UN Partnerships Unit to review the partnerships database; and performing other assigned duties, including outreach activities. Interns will be encouraged to take initiative and contribute creatively to the team's projects.

Required Qualifications:
To qualify for this internship, applicants must be enrolled in or have completed a graduate program in communication, journalism, international relations, public administration, English, or translation studies. Alternatively, applicants can be in their final year of a bachelor's degree in a related field. Candidates should be proficient in standard software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel, and demonstrate a strong interest in the UN's work and ideals.
