Job Overview:
The Project Field Coordinator (FC) will dedicate 100% of their time to the Shifting to Zero Waste Against Pollution (SWAP) Initiative Project, which aims to reduce chemical pollution and improve resource efficiency in emerging economies and Least Developed Countries. The FC will support the Project Manager from the General Directorate of Environmental Management of the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change, providing technical and coordination support for project inputs and facilitating collaboration among project teams and stakeholders. The role is crucial for ensuring the successful implementation of project components, monitoring progress, and maintaining effective communication with all parties involved.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Field Coordinator will be responsible for providing technical and coordination support for city-level pilots, private-sector engagement, and knowledge-sharing activities. They will assist the Project Manager in planning processes, tracking progress against the approved workplan, and providing administrative support for procurement documentation and reporting. The FC will monitor project events, support assessments required by UNDP, and ensure that project activities align with UN values and priorities. They will also capture lessons learned during implementation and support the Mid-term review and Terminal Evaluation process, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among project partners and stakeholders.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess an advanced university degree (master's degree or equivalent) in fields such as Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or a related field. Alternatively, a first-level university degree (bachelor’s degree) combined with two additional years of qualifying experience will be considered. Relevant work experience at the national or international level in management advisory services or in the design, monitoring, and evaluation of development projects is essential, with a minimum of 2 years required for those with a master's degree and 4 years for those with a bachelor's degree.

Educational Background:
The educational background required for this position includes an advanced university degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Public Administration, Economics, Political Sciences, Social Sciences, Engineering, Environmental Sciences, or related disciplines. Candidates with a bachelor's degree will be considered if they have additional qualifying experience, demonstrating the importance of both education and practical experience in this role.

Experience:
The position requires a minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience for candidates with a master's degree, or 4 years for those with a bachelor's degree. This experience should be at the national or international level, focusing on management advisory services, project design, monitoring, and evaluation. Candidates should have hands-on experience in development projects, particularly in areas related to climate change, environment, or chemicals and waste management.

Languages:
Fluency in Turkish and English is mandatory for this position. Proficiency in additional languages may be considered an asset, enhancing communication and collaboration with diverse stakeholders and partners.

Additional Notes:
The position is expected to be full-time, with the Field Coordinator working closely with the Project Manager and other team members within the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change. The role does not include overall project management or decision-making authority, which remains with the Implementing Partner.
