The role of the English Language Adviser at VSO is a unique opportunity for individuals passionate about education and eager to make a significant impact in Uzbekistan's education system. As an international volunteer, you will be responsible for coaching local English language educators and teaching secondary school students. Duties and Responsibilities:
As an English Language Adviser, your duties will include:

Required Qualifications:
To be considered for the position of English Language Adviser, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A degree in education or a related field.
• Practical experience in English language teaching within a school setting.
• Preferably, a TESOL, TEFL, CELTA, or DELTA certification, although candidates without these certifications but with equivalent relevant experience are also encouraged to apply.
• Strong communication and facilitation skills, with a passion for mentoring and supporting other educators.

Additional Notes:
This position is a full-time volunteer role with an allowance provided in local currency to cover reasonable living expenses in Uzbekistan. However, it is important to note that the allowance may not be sufficient for sending money home. Accommodation for volunteers will vary and is typically basic, reflecting the organization's commitment to working with some of the poorest communities.
