Job Posting Organization: The Climate and Clean Air Coalition (CCAC) is a partnership that includes governments, intergovernmental organizations, private sector representatives, environmental communities, and civil society members. Established to address the urgent need for integrated climate and clean air solutions, the CCAC focuses on reducing emissions of short-lived climate pollutants (SLCPs) such as methane, black carbon, HFCs, and tropospheric ozone. The CCAC is hosted by the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) at the Economy Division in Paris, and it operates globally, engaging with various stakeholders to promote effective climate action. The coalition has been instrumental in fostering international cooperation and commitment towards reducing SLCP emissions, with Mexico being a founding partner and a leader in this initiative for over a decade.
