Job Overview: The Communications Assistant position is designed to support the Communications Officer in various tasks related to communication and public information. The assistant will also be involved in the production of visual materials and branding assets for events, collaborating closely with the External Relations Associate to design donor newsletters and visibility products.
Required Qualifications: The required qualifications for the Communications Assistant position include a minimum of one year of relevant experience with a High School Diploma or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Administration, Journalism, or Social Sciences. Essential skills include communication and computer literacy, excellent drafting abilities, and translation and interpreting skills. Desirable qualifications include completion of UNHCR Learning Programmes or specific training relevant to the functions of the position. The candidate should also possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
Educational Background: The educational background required for this position includes a High School Diploma as a minimum, with a preference for candidates holding a Bachelor's degree or higher in fields related to communication, journalism, or social sciences.
