Job Overview:
The Receptionist position at the EBRD is a vital role that encompasses both reception and administrative duties, ensuring the smooth operation of the Resident Office (RO). The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing essential support to the office staff. This role is split evenly between reception duties, such as greeting visitors and answering phone calls, and administrative tasks, including assisting bankers and coordinating office activities. The Receptionist is expected to maintain a professional demeanor while managing inquiries and ensuring that office supplies and equipment are adequately maintained. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to multitask effectively in a dynamic environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Receptionist's duties are divided into two main categories: reception (50%) and clerical/administrative support (50%). Reception duties include screening incoming calls, answering questions about the organization, greeting visitors, and managing visitor logs. The Receptionist will also prepare meeting rooms and assist with visitor arrangements. On the administrative side, responsibilities include sorting and processing mail, maintaining archives, scheduling appointments, organizing conference room bookings, and providing secretarial support to bankers. The Receptionist may also be involved in arranging transportation for visitors, managing the general RO email, and assisting with local visa arrangements as needed. This role requires a high level of organization and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining a professional and courteous demeanor.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of secondary education, with a preference for university-level education. Previous experience in a receptionist or secretarial role is essential, along with familiarity with office equipment such as fax machines and photocopiers. Excellent verbal communication skills and a good telephone manner are required, as well as strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computer applications, particularly Microsoft Word and Outlook, is necessary, along with the ability to learn new skills as required. The ideal candidate will demonstrate initiative, responsibility, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. Multilingual capabilities, particularly in English and the relevant country language, are highly desirable.

Educational Background:
The position requires at least a secondary education, with a preference for candidates who have completed university-level studies.
