Job Overview: The Integrity Assistant position is situated within the Investigations Division (AIID) of the Office of Anticorruption and Integrity (OAI) at ADB's headquarters in Manila. The role is crucial for supporting the integrity and accountability of ADB's operations. The Integrity Assistant will be responsible for a variety of confidential coordination tasks that facilitate the functioning of the Investigations Division. This includes managing interdepartmental administrative activities, supporting the investigation processes, and ensuring compliance with ADB's standards and procedures. The position requires a proactive approach to handling complaints and investigations, as well as the ability to work collaboratively with various stakeholders both within and outside the organization. The Integrity Assistant will also play a key role in data management, reporting, and coordination of capacity-building activities, contributing to the overall mission of ADB to foster prosperity in Asia.
Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities of the Integrity Assistant include:
Investigation Research and Analysis: - Screening and reviewing complaints and reports under ADB's Anticorruption Policy. - Gathering and analyzing information from internal and external sources relevant to complaints. - Preparing Preliminary Findings Reports and investigative documents in accordance with OAI procedures.
Data Management and Operations Support: - Updating filing systems and records in OAI's Case Management System. - Monitoring the status of confidential matters and documents. - Responding to straightforward correspondence on behalf of AIID and ensuring proper logging and distribution. - Arranging appointments, meetings, and travel for AIID personnel.
Reporting: - Maintaining AIID's dashboard for monthly case reviews. - Collecting and analyzing data to produce routine and ad hoc reports. - Coordinating weekly updates with OAI personnel on selected cases. - Assisting in the preparation of correspondence and reports related to complaints and investigations.
Coordination and Other Responsibilities: - Supporting OAI capacity-building activities, including training and outreach efforts. - Acting as an alternate for other Integrity Assistants during their absence and performing additional tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications: Candidates for the Integrity Assistant position must possess a Bachelor's degree and have at least 5 years of relevant professional experience. Proficiency in English, both spoken and written, is essential, including skills in editing and memo composition. Familiarity with ADB and similar multilateral development bank standard software programs and information technologies is required. The candidate should have experience working with individuals from diverse cultural and national backgrounds, demonstrating the ability to navigate competing demands efficiently. Additionally, the candidate should have a proven track record of promoting productive and respectful workplace relationships.
