Job Overview:
The Finance Specialist position is situated within the FAO Shared Services Centre in Budapest, Hungary. The role primarily involves assisting in transaction processing and maintaining the Oracle (GRMS) Supplier master and the General Ledger. The incumbent will work under the supervision of the Finance Officer and collaborate with senior Finance associates to ensure accurate and timely updates to vendor records and banking information. The Finance Specialist will engage with various stakeholders, including vendors and FAO departments, to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with established standards and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
The Finance Specialist will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: coordinating with vendors and FAO departments to update vendor records, verifying bank details using Banking Knowledge Databases, ensuring the validity of vendor IBANs, and updating Oracle Financials Systems with accurate vendor and bank account information. The incumbent will respond to inquiries regarding transaction processing, report any discrepancies or irregularities to the supervisor, and maintain statistics on daily work for monthly reporting. Additionally, the Finance Specialist will participate in the creation of journal vouchers, provide high-level customer service, assist with system changes and upgrades, and back up colleagues as needed. Other related duties may be assigned as required.

Required Qualifications:
Candidates must possess a minimum of Secondary School Education and at least one year of relevant experience in vendor and banking or master data management. A working knowledge (level C) of English is essential, and candidates must be nationals of Hungary or residents with a valid work permit.
